This is an EP compiled from different sources and experiments that never quite became parts of other albums by themselves. They're not exactly B-sides but more like orphans. Tracks 1 and 7 were written and recorded in room five of the Hotel Connor in Jerome, Arizona. Track 6 was written for my wife before we were married and living in a little apartment in Mesa. And the rest? God only knows.

This compilation is also a compendium to the Velveteen Vaccine EP with the same title. Contrary to the way I typically write for each project, both sets of songs were written at the same time.
